Ten years in the industry is long enough to be able to look back on what has been done and forge future plans, building even closer cooperation with professionals, experts and audiences in the creative industry sector. During this decade, “radi!” has grown from a week of creativity to different audiences to a cycle of events in the cities and small towns of Latvia's regions. But we want to grow even further! Therefore, our new concept implies that future “radi” will be an initiative to highlight the most prominent products and services of the creative industries, offering a variety of activities throughout the year for the development of the sector, and at the same time initiating projects that focus on citizens' needs.
Finding new solutions promotes design thinking, provides intercultural experience and promotes awareness of the industry and the implementation of new concepts. Therefore, we are pleased to share our experience with young experts from different areas and to recommend the best design thinking methods to address different challenges. A retrospective event will also be launched this year with a view to look back on the progress made in ten years and on the way forward, bringing together the original originators and partners of the “radi!” initiative.

We are all relatives when we come together - state and local government institutions, non-governmental organizations and companies to seek and develop creativity in public administration, business, schools, museums, libraries and society as a whole. Everyone is invited to identify creativity in targeted action and use it to address societal challenges and create added value. The room begins to breathe as we discover how to link together our roots - the traditional legacy with wings - the innovative.
